Titanium Dioxide
Titanium dioxide creates opacity, allowing for a foundation that covers blemishes and evens skin tone. It has light scattering and whitening properties, repels water, and adheres to the skin. Titanium dioxide increases coverage, adhesion, and doesn't clump as easily as Zinc Oxide, especially in liquid foundation recipes. It is considered to be very safe for use on skin as long as it isn't coated, micronized, or nano-ized. Our Titanium Dioxide follows these guidelines, and is oil soluble.
