Amber Graziano

Amber is a clinical herbalist and educator with over 15 years of experience in Western herbal traditions. She has taught at herbal clinics, schools, and farms across Colorado, sharing her love of plant medicine with diverse communities. As a staff instructor at Rebecca’s, she leads classes on medicine making, how to craft a home apothecary, and formulation. Her favorite part of being an herbalist is witnessing the deep healing that happens when people reconnect with the natural world and their plant allies.

Ashley Howisey

Visiting Instructor

Ashley grew up in Seattle, Washington. She studied Global Health and Education at the University of Washington. She attended the Bastyr Naturopathic program for two years. Ashley, her husband, and son moved to Nederland, CO in 2019. She completed her Clinical Herbalism, Nutrition and Flower Essence certificate at CSCH. She is working on a master’s in clinical counseling. Ashley has studied wildflowers in Alaska, tropical herbs in Kauai and continues to lead walks in the mountains in Colorado.

Ashley Loza

Staff Instructor

Ashley Loza is a Cosmetic Chemist and Herbal Apprentice with over 9 years of formulation experience. She loves sharing the creativity and knowledge of formulation and herbalism with the students at Rebecca’s Apothecary. As a staff instructor at Rebecca's, she leads classes primarily on lotion making. Her favorite part of being an herbalist is the intuitive creativity that showcases the individuality of each herbalist all the while connecting with the community around her.

Brigitte Mars

Brigitte Mars is an herbalist, author, psychedelic sitter, and end-of-life doula. She’s written numerous books including Natural Remedies for Mental and Emotional Health, Addiction Free Naturally, and Healing Herbal Teas. She teaches at Naropa University and various herbal schools and festivals worldwide. Brigitte is a founding member of the American Herbalist Guild, created the IPlant app, and hosts a radio show called Naturally.

Jessica Flowers

Jessica Flowers is a clinical herbalist and a womb wise educator with a focus on new family wellness and over 17 years of experience working with herbal medicine. She has taught at herbal conferences, women’s gatherings and herbal clinics sharing her knowledge and love for plant medicine. As a visiting instructor at Rebecca’s, they lead classes on herbs for reproductive vitality, overall family wellness and women’s wellness.

Julia Lyons

Julia Lyons is a Spiritual Mentor, Intuitive Coach & Healer rooted in somatic Earth-based practices & herbal wisdom. Through remote and in person work, she empowers community members to process their challenges and step into a confident, authentic life aligned with their deepest desires. Her passion is working with folks who are ready to dive deep and commit to their process with ongoing support & mentorship.

Lauren Nichols

Lauren Ann Nichols-Sheffler is a certified medical herbalist from the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism and founder of Blue Yarrow Herbs (Herbal Vice). She co-stewards the Denver Herb Club, teaches at CSCH, and hosts events at her United Plant Savers Botanical Sanctuary. As Senior Sourcing & Purchasing Manager at WishGarden Herbs, she blends local sourcing with a passion for plant education and sustainability.

Matthew Becker

Visiting Instructor

Matthew has been a clinical herbalist for forty years and is particularly interested in the psycho spiritual aspects of plants and herbal medicine. He is on the faculty of the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism where his focus is on how herbal remedies can help us heal on emotional and spiritual levels that impact all aspects of our physical health. Ultimately herbs are indescribable, but he does his best to describe them anyway.

Samantha Grant

Samantha Grant is a clinical herbalist, flower essence practitioner, and herbal educator with over 10 years of experience in herbalism, nutrition, and flower essence modalities. They have taught at Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism and is currently the co-owner of Fireweed School of Herbalism & Vitalist Traditions. As a visiting instructor at Rebecca’s, they lead classes on seasonal wellness and herbal medicine making. Their favorite part of being an herbalist is being a forever student of the plants and the earth, and sharing earth-based practices with this community.

Sami Adler

Staff Instructor

Sami is a writer and nature-based creative who works at Rebecca’s, where she deepens her knowledge of plants and explores the relationship between people and the natural world. This summer, she has been enjoying time in the garden, learning how to make her own makeup, and—as always—taking long walks to soak in the beauty around her. Her creative pursuits include painting, pressing flowers, making collages, and trying out new recipes. Lately, she’s especially drawn to the calm, dreamy presence of Linden and Motherwort.

Stephanie Selz

Stephanie is a Clinical Herbalist at Rebecca’s Apothecary. Born by the oceanside and shaped by the mountains, Stephanie has been a Boulder resident for 11 years, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at CU Boulder. She received her Clinical Herbalism certification from the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism in 2023 after completing their 2.5 year program, and has been at Rebecca’s Apothecary for five years.

Sofia Arana-Miranda

Sofia is a community herbalist passionate about cultural and bio-regional herbalism. She enjoys teaching Mexican folk herbalism, identifying and wildcrafting native plants, and creating earth-based medicines that honor the Earth. Her work bridges education, ceremony, and deep connection to the plants.

Taylor Fish

Captivated by nature and the complexities of the body, Taylor is a dedicated "forever student" of Vitalist Herbalism. She’s passionate about making herbal education accessible, and wants to share all she’s learned with those who desire to know their bodies on a deeper level and weave nature back into everyday life. She enjoys slow hikes fawning over each and every plant, making herbal medicine, and spending time with loved ones, especially her cat Little Bean.
