Step into a small-group, hands-on exploration of herbal skincare formulation to create a luxurious handcrafted gift for yourself and someone you love—where traditional plant wisdom meets the art of emulsion making. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to transform pre-infused herbal oils into a rich, stable lotion by blending them with a water phase—demystifying the science behind creams while working with botanicals.
Together, we’ll focus on a pair of festive herbs—Juniper and Ginger—and explore their warming and body-supportive properties and how they translate from plant to finished product. Perfect for the wintertime! Along the way, you’ll gain a practical understanding of emulsification, ingredient function, and the foundational mechanisms behind lotion making.
All materials are provided. You’ll leave with your own 1-oz and 2-oz jars of handcrafted cream, along with the knowledge and confidence to continue creating herbal formulations at home—perfect for nourishing your own skin through the dry winter months or gifting a little handmade, plant-infused love to someone you care about.
Additional Info: Recommended Age: 18+ unless accompanied by an adult. Materials for lotion takeaways are included in the class cost.
