Herbalism for Teens is a hands-on program that introduces plant medicine as a practical, relationship-based practice. Over a series of two classes, teens will explore herbalism through tasting, crafting, discussion, and outdoor learning.

Participants gain foundational knowledge of herbal safety, stewardship, and everyday uses of plant medicine while creating their own herbal preparations to take home. The program blends science, tradition, and creativity in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Medicine Making for Teens (June 7th): Teens will explore herbs using all the senses, learn foundational concepts and safety, and start building skills needed to create a simple apothecary at home. Each participant will create and take home a salve and their own custom tea blend.

Herbal Farm Day for Teens (June 14th): Teens will meet living medicinal plants, learn the basics of growing and harvesting, beginner botanical identification, and participate in guided hands-on activities and herbal preparations.

Additional Information: Recommended for ages 12–17. Materials are included in the class cost.

Herbal Farm Day for Teens takes place at an off-site herbal farm located within a 30-minute drive of Rebecca’s Apothecary. The exact location will be shared with registered participants and parents one week prior to the class.
