Activated Charcoal & Clay Soap Recipe

16 oz. Melt & Pour Soap Base, Organic Glycerin, Honey or Goat’s Milk
1 Tablespoon Activated Charcoal powder
30-40 drops Fir Balsam or Peppermint essential oil

Instructions
Place the soap base, cut into pieces, in a heat proof container and set it in a double boiler filled with steaming water, over medium-high heat. When the soap base is melted, add the activated charcoal.  Stir well, pressing any lumps against the side of the container until the mixture is evenly combined.  Take off the heat, add the Essential oil, stir well and pour into your soap mold(s).  Place mold in the freezer for 4 hours or leave on the counter overnight. Gently un-mold your soap. Makes 8-12 Individual Soaps depending on the size and shape of your soap mold.
