Join Ashley for a peaceful plant walk along a mountain creek during the Summer Solstice. This guided experience offers the opportunity to explore a local trail while learning the fundamentals of botany and gaining an introduction to medicinal plants. Topics will also include sustainable harvesting practices and basic methods for processing plants for medicinal use.

Participants should come prepared with a rain jacket, layers, plenty of water, a snack, and sturdy hiking shoes or sandals suitable for uneven terrain. The route is primarily flat, at an elevation of approximately 8,600–8,800 feet, with only a few gentle inclines.

No prior experience is required. This walk is especially well-suited for beginners, though participants of all experience levels are welcome.

Suggested Age of Participant: 14 and up.

Location: TBD (within 20 miles of Downtown Boulder) Please note that the exact location with directions will be emailed a few days before the walk.

Class registration closes at 4:00 pm MST on Friday for weekend classes.
