Solid Perfume RecipeMakes approximately 1 ounce1 Tablespoon Jojoba oil or Almond oil 1 Tablespoon Beeswax 15-30 drops of essential oil Choose a container to pour your solid perfume into. Empty lockets, slider tins, lip balm tubes and small clay pots all work great. If using more than one essential oil, blend your essential oils first into a separate glass container. Finely chop or grate your beeswax. Place beeswax and oil of choice into a heat resistant glass container. Place the glass container into a small saucepan with water that reaches halfway up the glass container. Turn stovetop on low to medium heat. Stir beeswax and oil until beeswax pieces fully dissolve. Remove from the heat and immediately stir in the essential oils. Mix thoroughly and pour into your container of choice. Let solidify, lid and label. Apply to pulse points on wrist, neck and chest.

Potpourri and SachetsA fun and easy gift to make with kids! Place sachets in dresser drawers or hang in closets to leave your clothes smelling delicious. Sachets can also be used as dryer scents. Potpourris can be loosely mixed together in a bowl or glass jar as decoration and/or to scent a room.
Flowers and Leaves: Calendula, Cedar leaf, Chamomile, Clary Sage, Elder flower, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Lemon Balm, Lemon Verbena, Linden flowers, Peppermint, Rose buds or petals, Sage, Spearmint Spices: Allspice, Cardamom pods or seed, Cinnamon chips, Cloves, Lemon peels, Orange peels, Vanilla beans Mix together any combination of dried herbs and spices together in a bowl (total 1-2 cups). Add 1 teaspoon powdered or chopped Orris root to 1 cup herbal mixture. Orris root is a fixative that helps the herbs last longer. You can also add a drop or two of essential oil to extend the scent. Display the herbs as potpourri in a bowl or pour into muslin bags. If desired, stamp or decorate muslin bags. You can also make your own bags from colored fabric or lace and tie closed with a ribbon to form a pouch If made ahead of time, store sachet or potpourri blend in an airtight container to preserve the scent.
