Join Certified Herbalist, Naturalist and Nature & Forest Therapy Guide, Cat Pantaleo, for a delightful and immersive experience in the glorious Colorado High Country. Cat will lead a unique and memorable journey through exquisite Montane forests and meadows, blending her knowledge of plant and tree medicine and skill as a mindfulness nature guide.
Our saunter will include information about traditional uses of plants and trees and best preparations, first aid remedies, edibility and potential toxicity of those we encounter and an introduction to plant family patterns. A rare opportunity to slow down, attune to your senses, tap into wonder and awe, and experience the incredible green ones with whom we share our home.
Please Note: Participants must have a fitness level enabling them to walk 2-3 miles at elevations up to 10,000' with ease and minimal discomfort. Total elevation gain will be ~500-1,000’.
Location: TBD (within ~1 hour drive out west from Boulder). Please note that the exact location with directions will be emailed a few days before the walk.
