Calendula Hydrosol

Our Calendula Hydrosol is freshly distilled on a small herb farm nestled in Washington’s Columbia River Valley. The growers personally tend, harvest, and distill their herbs throughout the summer, allowing the plants to move from field to still at their freshest. Unlike hydrosols produced simply as a by-product of essential oil production, these hydrosols are intentionally distilled in traditional copper stills to capture the aromatic and botanical qualities of the whole plant.

Gentle and soothing, Calendula Hydrosol is especially lovely for sensitive, dry, irritated, or sun-exposed skin. Calendula has a long tradition of use for calming and supporting the skin, making this hydrosol a beautiful choice for everyday facial care, after-sun care, babies, pets, and tender or easily irritated skin.

How to Use:

• Mist directly onto the face or body as a soothing botanical toner or refreshing skin mist.
• Apply after cleansing and before facial oils or moisturizers.
• Spritz onto hot or sun-exposed skin, or saturate a cloth for a cooling botanical compress.
• Add to baths for a gentle botanical soak.
• Use as an ingredient in lotions, body sprays, and other handmade skin and body care preparations.
