The Art of Herbal Fermentation

Fermented foods are full of beneficial bacteria, enzymes, vitamin C and B vitamins which help to re-establish proper intestinal flora. Learn to ferment an herbal-inspired kraut and other herbs & vegetables to increase their digestibility, nutritional value, and to create your own homemade probiotic foods. During this demonstration-style class we will discuss the processes that define fermentation, herbs for liver support, nervous system support and gut health, as well as how incorporating fermented foods into our diet can improve health and well being.

Participants will be provided with with nutritional resources on gut health and recipes and tools to get you started fermenting at home!
