As we enter Spring, there is a natural tendency towards cleaning, including our own bodies. The desire to detox and fast during these months is strong, but there are healthier ways to get results. Our bodies naturally know how to move toxins and unnecessary compounds out of our bodies, and the herbal approach to “detoxing” involves supporting these processes. In class, we will learn about the detoxification system, the ways in which we can help lower the burden on this system, and the foods and herbs we can use to support its work. Participants will create and go home with an individualized tea blend for detoxification support.
