Autumn is the season of falling leaves, cooling temperatures and cozy spices. Observing and engaging with the cycles of nature and the seasonal transitions can be an insightful way to get in tune with ourselves and the natural world. Fall is a time of year to enjoy the harvest of summer's bounty, and to prepare for the winter ahead.
Join Certified Herbalist Amber Graziano in this hands-on class and learn how to make an herbal syrup to support a healthy immune system, a warming body oil to promote circulation and lymph flow, and a tea blend to support seasonal wellness. We will smell, taste, and discuss herbs, foods, essential oils and flower essences to stay healthy during this transitional season.
This class is the second in a four-part series on seasonal wellness, but it is not necessary to have taken the Herbs for Summer class.
For this class, registration includes a handout and recipes, as well as an Ingredient Kit to make a syrup, body oil and tea blend during the class.
For In Person Participants, these materials will be provided at the start of class. For Live Online participants, if you'd like your Ingredient Kit shipped to you to use during class, please order by Wednesday, August 31 to plan for on-time delivery.
