The lush green beauty of the Pacific Northwest provided Kate with the perfect childhood stomping grounds for endless exploration. Preferring to get the hands and feet dirty close to the ground amongst the plants instilled a curiosity in biology and botany in her.
Thinking about becoming a doctor, Kate pursued a pre-medical degree only to be disappointed to discover it lacked connection with the outdoor plant world that cultivated the career interest in the first place. Kate reconnected with her plant allies studying herbal sciences at Bastyr University in Seattle, realizing the immense medicinal power they encompass. Kate graduated from Bastyr University with a Bachelor of Science in Herbal Sciences in 2012 and continues learning herbal wisdom at the Colorado School of Medical Herbalism in Boulder.
As an herbalist at Rebecca's Apothecary, Kate shares her own wisdom and knowledge of botanical medicine for the greater community as a way to connect with nature, the body and self, and personal wellbeing.
Amber works at Rebecca's Apothecary as a certified herbalist, teacher, writer, and lover of plants. Raised by medical practitioners of both western and eastern philosophies, her education in the multifaceted world of healing began at a young age. After working on various organic and biodynamic farms in Central America and across the US, she began to explore her developing interests in plant medicine and whole food nutrition. This exploration led to her participation in an intensive clinical herbal program and has resulted in a rewarding career as a certified clinical herbalist and nutritionist. Amber's practice reflects her enthusiasm for helping people take charge of their own health and wellbeing through nutrition, lifestyle changes, plant spirit medicine, flower essences and aromatherapy. She is tickled to be a part of an amazing team of herbalists at Rebecca's and to continue her lifelong education in herbal therapeutics.

Rebecca Luna is the owner and founder of Rebecca's Herbal Apothecary & Supply. She has been steeped in Herbalism since the early 1990's when she attended the Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies,
(RMCBS), where she received both her Herbalist and Clinical Herbalist certifications. She continued her studies through apprenticeships, working with clients, providing post-partum doula care, teaching and simply living with the plants. Her teaching focused primarily on the art of Botanical Medicine Making.
She was a core faculty member at RMCBS, and later went on to teach at Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. Though Rebecca loves teaching, her primary dream was to have a little herb shop, a place where herbalists can work and the community can have access to whole botanical medicines. Now that the shop has started to come into it's own, Rebecca has found her bliss. She is thankful everyday for the plants and people she gets to work with, for the wonderful community that walks in the door, and for her family that has supported her every step of the way.

While attending New Vista High School in 2009, Tzuria began an apprenticeship here at Rebecca's Apothecary. Having such an incredible opportunity changed everything for her. Following her heart she then enrolled at the North American Institute of Medical Herbalism and graduated in 2012 as a Certified Clinical Herbalist and Flower Essence Practitioner. Tzuria is excited to be walking the healing path and to share it with others. Lauren Stauber is a certified clinical herbalist and nutritionist, a licensed massage therapist, a songwriter, and a devoted mom and partner. Hailing from New York City, Lauren came to herbalism through a love of nature and a calling to healing work that took root in childhood and blossomed among the skyscrapers and asphalt. In 2003, after 35 years in "the city," she transplanted herself to Boulder, seeking teachers and more time with her hands in the dirt. In 2004, she attended her first herbalism course with Brigitte Mars, going on to complete a two-year certification with Paul Bergner and faculty at the North American Institute of Medical Herbalism. She continues to study on her own and with mentors. Lauren is fascinated by the subtle energies of plants and people, and the mutually beneficial relationships possible between them. She is particularly interested in working with chronic pain, stress, anxiety and emotional transitions. She also loves exploring the overlap between herbalism and cooking, and believes the best medicines come from the kitchen.
Adriana works as a certified herbalist for Rebecca's Apothecary. She graduated from the North American Institute of Medical Herbalism in May of 2012. She gained much experience teaching a variety of herbal education classes to the local residents of La Falda. Adriana's herbal curiosities lay deeply in women's reproductive health, wildcrafting, creating herbal body products, and herbal education for athletes.
