Kombucha Explorations
Tues., Nov. 11, 2008, 6:30 - 8:00pm
Instructor: Deanna Gabriel
Come discover the curious and exciting world of Kombucha! Taste a variety of teas, find out about the potential health benefits of Kombucha and learn how to create your own culture at home. We will also explore the use of Kombucha as a culinary vinegar, a base for herbal preparations, even as a facial toner! Several cultures will be available for class participants, so bring a jar if you wish to take home a culture.
Class cost is $30 and includes all materials.
Natural Cold & Flu Prevention
Wednesday, Nov. 19th, 2008, 6:30-8:00pm
Instructor: Christina Bertelli
In this class you will learn immunity-building strategies using herbs, food, and aromatherapy techniques. Explore how Elderberry, Astragalus and Ravensara can build your host resistance and help you stay well all winter long! We will discuss natural products available in commerce as well as recipes for you to make at home.

Herbal Holiday Gift Making

Celebrate the season! Come learn to create your own handmade herbal gifts for friends and loved ones. Certified Herbalists Katie Browning and Ashlee Bodo will share how to make an assortment of fun herbal products including massage oils, bath salts and scrubs, yummy winter tea blends, medicinal honeys, herb-infused wines and cookies, and much more! We will cover many recipes and demonstrate making certain blends in class.

Herbal Honeys & Syrups

Lotion Making

Instructor: Deanna Gabriel
Great for holiday gifts! Come discover how to make your own lotions using all natural ingredients! These beautiful creams can be used as full body moisturizers and make wonderful, nourishing face creams. In this class you will learn how to create lotions using a variety of oils, floral waters, cocoa and shea butters. We will also cover various methods for making medicinal lotions. Natural handmade lotions are a wonderful way to pamper and improve your skin! All participants will take home a sample of lotion made in class.

Luscious Lips
Thursday, Dec. 11th, 2008, 6:30-8:00pm
Instructor: Faith Goguen
Join us for a fun demonstration of how to make your own natural lip balms and lip glosses. We will learn about all the basic ingredients; oils, butters, waxes, herbs and essential oils that can be added to enhance the beauty or healing quality of your lip balms and glosses. We will also learn about using natural dyes to add color and sparkle to your lips. Participants will leave with recipes and sample of all products made in call. All material included in the cost of the class.

Cancellation Policy
Refunds will only be given if you cancel your class at least 24 hours before the class begins.

All classes are held at the shop unless otherwise noted in class description. Rebecca's Herbal Apothecary & Supply is located at 1227 Spruce St. in downtown Boulder, Colorado. Between 13th Street & Broadway on Spruce Street, next to the Hotel Boulderado.
